Oscar – Welsh Terrier – Rehomed

Oscar is Reserved pending checks

We would like to introduce you to Oscar – the lively and loving Welsh Terrier

Oscar is 7 years old – he is neutered – he is looking for a new home.  He is a typical Welsh Terrier – and all the joy that entails

He is loving, sweet – loves a cuddle and having a good nosey in the garden. He can be left for short period of times, clean in the house and all round good egg.

Sadly he does not like children.  He can be unpredictable around them.  So we are looking for a child free home and one where there are no visiting children either.

He was attacked by a large dog about 3 years ago and this has made him fearful when out on his walks.  He can bark and growl at other dogs approaching and if they get too close he will defend himself.  He is always walked on lead and avoidance is the best policy.  He is fine with dogs he gets to know and realise they pose no threat.  Any new home would need to understand this and we will work with them to have best practice in place and ways to manage and improve this for him.

He is a typical welsh terrier – and as such he will need a house that understands him and gives him the time and space he needs.  Most importantly respect him and allow him to make choices that keep him stress free.
