This is Maya – a wonderful fox terrier that has had a very tough life.  She was straying on the streets of Spain when a very kind soul picked her up and asked for help.  We were contacted and knew her life had to change!

She had been used as a breeding machine – she had been left in a terrible condition – severe ear infection, mastitis, the start of pyometra, mammary tumours, horrific teeth, covered in fleas and the list went on.  She has had several operations, and lots of TLC and she is now ready to travel to the UK.

Maya is approx 11 years old, she is deaf (as a consequence of the untreated ear infection).  She is dog and people friendly and just needs a home that will love her to bits.  She also had several lumps removed from the base of her tail – some lumps have reappeared on her back legs – these are being removed – but she may have them return.

She is a super adorable girl and absolutely gorgeous.
