The beautiful Miss Maya is being fostered in Hertfordshire. A few words from her foster family: “She is the most gentle and kind dog you would ever wish to meet, whose tail never stops wagging! Maya has been on a trip to see the ducks, and then went to the pet shop. Maya was very good and even found some treats..She was a bit puzzled when she saw her reflection in the mirror but soon realised it was not her twin..or is it just a girl thing!”
She came to us from the same Killing Station as Nando and Wendy – we are always full and the volunteers asked us to help – and we did not have the space. But they made one last plea – she had overstayed and they needed her kennel for dogs arriving on Monday…..so what could we do. We decided to squeeze her in. Look at those eyes – how can we not try and give this dog a chance at a loved life.
Maya is approx 5 years old, she is sweet – a long legged jack russell cross – good with people and dogs. Can she be the dog for you?
Vaccinated, neutered & chipped.
Children: age 10 +
Sorry no small furries.

Here is one we squeezed in earlier….we have a wonderful foster in Spain and she takes quite a few dogs for us – but only for us – and it is known that she helps dogs…so…..rather than ask or find a loving home, someone has thrown this little dog over the wall. Yes, barely 3 months old and they threw her over a 6 foot wall – not surprisingly she was hurt and in a panic ran under the parked car. She had a lot of interest from our Terrier SOS dogs – and they alerted out foster. It took the good part of a day to get her from under the car – she was frozen in fear. She was limping and had a few scrapes and bruises – but thankfully no breaks or injuries – she has made a full recovery and is slowly finding her paws. She is called Pulguita and is about 3 months old – she has now become a Terrier SOS dog. She had been reserved for a family and has now arrived in the UK.
Unfortunately, due to sad & unforeseen circumstances, the family can not take Pulguita renamed Ivy.
She is now 12-18 months, fully vaccinated & microchipped, not yet neutered. She is friendly and loving and we urgently looking for a foster or adoptive family for her. Can you help?

coat: white black & tan
Children: age 10 +

Bex is under a year old, found as a stray – she is in pretty bad condition – and will be going into foster. We have very little information on her and will keep the site updated on her. We were able to take her on at short notice due to the amazing Waffle’s fundraising campaign & everyone’s generosity. We asked Waffle’s family to find a name for her and they chose Bex (short for Beckham) which we think is appropriate – we feel she will have the same Borlee hunting skill of our dear Waffle.
We are now looking for a UK home – foster or adoption – for Bex .
Will be vaccinated, neutered & chipped. Year of birth: 2013
coat: white & tan
Children: age 10 +

We were asked to help 3 fox terriers. Their owner had passed away and the ex-wife was going 2-3 times a week to give them water and food. They were living on their own on a finca – the wonderful people at Propatas asked if we could help them before they were sent off to the perrera or worse. It was a mum and her two pups.
This is the lovely Daenerys (Dani) Rose. This is the Mum – she is approx 2 years old and has been bred from every season. She is a lovely Wire Fox terrier and a doll – which shows in that adorable face! She has been spayed now – so her breeding days are over, and she is ready to be a loving pet.
Now we will find her a home that will be full of love and cuddles…..she is now fostered in London. When she first arrived she was very timid would not even come inside – but she is adjusting to life and quite likes a sofa now. However, she is still wary of sounds and new situations – she will need a caring loving family. Isn’t she beautiful? Interested in adopting Dani? Please get in touch.
